Organize your photos by who, where, and when.

Turn a good picture into a great one.
iPhoto features editing tools that rival professional-quality photo software, and it takes only a few clicks to use most of them. Remove red-eye. Adjust exposure, brightness, and contrast. Crop to frame your subject. If you don’t know where to begin, click the Enhance tool and watch iPhoto automatically fix bright or dull photos. If you want to make the colors in your photos pop without affecting skin tones, use the Saturation slider. To improve clarity and enhance detail, experiment with the Definition slider. Or retouch over solid edges with the Retouch brush. iPhoto even lets you apply effects — like a vignette border or an edge blur — with just a click.

Share your photos with the world. In print or online.
The easiest way to share your photos is to share them online. And it’s easy to share online with iPhoto. Enjoy one-click publishing of your photos to your Facebook page or Flickr account. You can share photos by email just as easily. Or turn them into gorgeous gifts such as a hardbound book, a calendar, or greeting cards.
